Laura McQueen

Laura McQueen

It’s no surprise that Laura has a career in accounting because she’s a visionary problem-solver and looks forward to excelling in every assignment she’s given. “I like the challenge of clients’ books being messy,” she smiles.

Raised in Austin, Texas, Laura gleaned inspiration from her father’s career and earned two degrees simultaneously in a dual program from Stephen F. Austin State University. Her Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters in Professional Accountancy degrees were received in 2012. She is also a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is in the process of becoming a CPA.

Laura has experience in financial statement audit and internal audit, as well as internal control consulting. Another area of Laura’s expertise is building books for clients from scratch and educating them about the importance of not relying solely on bank statements to make decisions, and maintaining account records.

In addition, Laura shares a common goal at the Company.

“At Tracy’s firm, we feel clients deserve personal attention and we have consistently good relationships with them—they’re not talking to someone new every year.”
